We are proud members of the Seventh-day Adventist Education system, the world's second largest integrated network of schools, with more than 7,500 schools worldwide enrolling more than 1.8 million students. In Australia, there are 50 school campuses offering Christian education to over 13,000 students. More locally, we are run by Seventh-day Adventist Schools (South Queensland) Ltd.
Adventist education focuses on mental, physical, social and spiritual health, which includes intellectual growth and service to humanity.
One can find Adventist churches, schools, hospitals, bookstores, libraries, universities, missions, charities and orphanages all over the world. Seventh-day Adventists can truly be regarded as a worldwide family of Christian believers!

Adventist hospitals and clinics provide healthcare assistance to more than 19.4 million people worldwide.
In Australia, The Sydney Adventist Hospital (known as The San) is the largest private and Not-For-Profit hospital in NSW, caring for more than 53,000 inpatients and 180,000 outpatients annually and delivering over 2,000 babies each year. Emergency Care admits approximately 19,000 patients each year making it NSW’s largest and busiest private Hospital Emergency Department.
The humanitarian/service work of our partners aims to educate and share the message of health and hope for a better life.
ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) is the humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It provides emergency relief and development assistance to more than 120 countries. It is approved by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID). ADRA has numerous projects across the world such as our “Refugee Education” project in Lebanon; “Price Project” in Myanmar (Burma) or “Wealth In the Soil’ Project in Zimbabwe.
SANITARIUM HEALTH FOOD COMPANY was registered as Australia’s first health food company in April 1898. It was established as part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia to promote and produce plant-based health foods long before it became 'trendy'. Known for its healthy and innovative breakfast cereals – including Australia’s No.1 cereal brand, Weetbix – and soy foods, Sanitarium also produces a large range of other plant-derived or vegetarian products.
